3D PRINTING

With modern dancer Martha Graham
as our chosen Interdisciplinary Person, we want to create a sculpture building on her unique dance style that explored the inner self.

The idea is to use geometric shapes to demonstrate the tension and turmoil of Martha Graham’s dance “Lamentation”1930.

Final Product

Sharp, angular shapes (triangles, jagged lines) can represent iner turmoil, conflict, and tension. Repetition can represent the rhythm of dance moves and to suggest the cyclical nature of struggle and grief
