Typographic poster design with found objects

I tried to demonstrate the bitter and the sweet by using cinnamon powder, coffee grounds, and sugar.

Bananas at different stages of ripeness could represent the bitter, the sweet, and the inbetween—symbolizing life’s dualities of good and bad. I incorporated carved-out type and handwritten type treatments.

The challenge was to choose a line or quote and use found objects to create typography that visually expresses its meaning or emotion.
